Behind The Scenes!

On October 3rd, we performed at the Radford Highlanders Festival and had a great time. The following day we blocked out some time to rehearse for our upcoming recording sessions for our second CD. Our friend Liz was kind enough to share her textile workshop space with us (complete with a warm, miniature pot-belly stove seen just behind the photo of Richard) . We filled it with sound for a couple of hours, then it was time to fly home. The following home video is footage from the rehearsal and provides you with an insiders view on what we are cooking up for our next CD. Keep in mind that this IS a rehearsal, warts ‘n’ all, so contents may have settled during shipping. We hope you enjoy a little peek at the inner-workings of Teribus!
Thank you, Radford!
We had a great time at the Radford Highlanders Festival last weekend! The weather was perfect! We played a ninety-minute set that included a moment where EJ was leading around 50 or so dancers while we played the An Dro. We met some really nice people and had dinner with friends to wrap up an excellent day. Thanks to everyone who came out to share some time with us and for making our first appearance at the festival a success!
Grandfather Mountain Highland Games
We made our first trek out to the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games this year and had a fantastic time! There was a bit of rain but that didn’t slow anyone down! Before one of our sets, we waited under our tent watching the rain come down. The audience sat patiently, undeterred by the weather. We couldn’t safely perform on the stage because of the sound system, so we climbed up the side of the hill, just in front of the seating and played our show. Watching EJ run up and down the hill in the slippery mud was like watching Funniest Home Videos, waiting for the punchline! He stayed on his feet nonetheless!
The Friday and Saturday night concerts were a blast with wonderful crowds who were there for nothing less than a good time! Here’s a bit of footage taken by an audience member at the Saturday night show of us performing “The Seamstress.”
It was a pleasure to share our music with everyone and we hope to do it again next year! Thanks to everyone who came out and shared in the fun!
