Teribus will be performing at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck in Houston, Texas for St. Patrick’s Day one week from today! You can see a listing of performers for this year located HERE. The Mucky Duck is a great little venue that turns their entire parking lot into a HUGE party tent, serving great food & drinks with plenty of music and dancing. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Teribus had a great day yesterday and was grateful for such an enthusiastic crowd! We were pleasantly surprised to see our new t-shirts had arrived! We will be playing today on the Shannon Stage at 1:15pm and hope to see every person that lives the state of Texas in the crowd. NTIF is a huge festival with plenty of things to do, so bring the whole family out. Where else can you buy canned haggis, deep fried pickles, and watch bagpipers stage dive?!? http://www.ntif.org/

Rock ‘n’ Roll Photography!

Recently, Teribus was in the studio working on new material for our second CD. We contacted Jay Ford to come in and shoot some photos to document the event. There were plenty of great shots taken. The following photo was from the session. Talk about shades of Led Zeppelin! January is coming to a close and March isn’t far away. We will be returning to Texas then to play at the North Texas Irish Festival and also for St. Pat’s at the Mucky Duck, so we’ll see you soon! Thanks again to Jay for “shooting” the band!

We had a great time at the Mucky Duck show on the 12th. It was great to see some familiar faces and new ones too! Recording In Process!

Shh! Bagpipers recording!

It’s true! Teribus is in the process of recording the second CD. Our first round with Randy Miller at Urbana Recording Studio went great and was a very positive experience. Work will continue over the next couple of months to try and complete the project. As much as we would love to crank out something ASAP, we refuse to rush the recording so that we can make it the best CD possible. We will keep you posted!

North Texas Irish Festival, 2010!

Join Teribus in celebrating their first appearance at the North Texas Irish Festival, March 5-7 in Dallas, Texas! Teribus is a bagpipe and drum quartet playing Celtic Slam-Rock Music ~ acoustic style. Influenced by musical traditions from around the world, their sound is unique and invigorating. Band members are EJ Jones (a co-founder of the group Clandestine on bagpipes), Richard Kean (“Bagpiper at Large” on being obvious), Kevin Hartnell (things that go boom/crash/bang), and Al Cofrin (strings and just keepin’ things in orbit).
